My most recent favorite book is by Joan Ranquet, Communication with All Life - Revelations of an Animal Communicator     Joan has written an amazing account of her life and the horses,dogs, cats and other critters that taught her to listen. Not only is her story a great read, it is filled with lessons on how to train yourself to tune into the animal kingdom. There are many tales of her animal clients and their people, and how their problems were resolved. I found my relationship with my cats improved without any effort other than reading and gaining more understanding. She has given a voice to our animal friends and I really hope she will offer more books soon.

    The Art of Predictive Astrology - Forcasting Your Life Events by Carol Rushman (Llewellyn Publications)  This fine work by Astrologer Carol Rushman will introduce you to the different methods used for predictive astrological readings. She takes you through psychological profiles, progressions, Transits, retrograde planets, eclipses, lunations and helps you learn to use the combination of information to give practical and concise readings. An excellent book for reference.

    The Mountain Astrologer Magazine  (the name is a link to the website)This publication is the astrologer's astrology magazine. You will find fascinating articles by expert astrologers, monthly lunations, world and national predictions and all the news about new planets, methods of chart interpretation, the influence of astroids, and lots of extras.I have been reading this mag for years and have a pile of back issues I still refer to. Get a subscription because you will be carrying this magazine around with you.

    The Astrologers Handbook by Frances Sakoian & Louis Acker(harper & row) The first book I tell my students to get for class is this one, and it is one of the first books I bought for my reference library in 1976. It is still the best organized book I have found for learning it all together. The authors have made it as clear and simple as it can be to delineate a chart. Get This book to begin your study and you will refer to it forever. 

     

    Planets in Transit-life cycles for living by Robert Hand(Para Research)  I found this book to be invaluable for charting coming cycles for my clients. Easy to use and very insightful information. Robert's books are all well put together and this one will make you look brilliant!
